Reading has always been at the heart of UV Books. Our founder, Usha R Lachumanan, a passionate reader since childhood, believed that the knowledge and insights found in books should be shared — not kept to oneself. What started as a simple desire to share her love for reading blossomed into a mission to transform lives.
From Livestreams to a Growing Community
Before UV Books had a physical shop, she began live-streaming on TikTok, sharing summaries, explanations, and the essence of every book she read. With the support of a trusted partner, she was able to import books from overseas and offer them to readers while continuing to educate and inspire through her live sessions.
